our response to COVID-19

The following email was sent to our community on 3/17/2020. For FAQs related to IFS Trainings going online click here.

IFS Community,

From all of us at IFS Institute, we hope that you are all safe and healthy during this challenging time as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of change and anxiety for me and my parts, and I’m sure for you as well. It seems with each passing day the impact of the Coronavirus is affecting the world in ways that most of us never imagined.

I wanted to personally reach out to you and let you know that our focus at IFS Institute has been to keep our attention on the needs of our community during this time. This past weekend I recorded a message about how we are responding to this unprecedented situation as an organization.

How the IFS Institute is responding to COVID-19

During this time in which we can’t gather together to take part in IFS trainings, we will be moving all trainings to an online platform until it is safe to meet in person again. We’ve been working very hard to make these necessary changes and we are confident that our IFS online trainings, while certainly different from the in-person experience, will be thorough and very rewarding nonetheless.

If you are currently enrolled in an IFS training, we’ve already been in touch with you around these changes and will continue to be in touch. I am gratified to report that this past weekend, we transitioned two trainings into the online space. Both were Level 1 trainings and based on the feedback we’ve received, these online training sessions have gone very well. This is consistent with our commitment that the online IFS training experience will be rewarding for all who are enrolled in a training currently, an upcoming training, or plan to apply for a future training during this uncertain time.

While we’re all asked to practice “social distancing” during this pandemic, I am grateful that the internet has given us the capacity to speak with each other, see one another and be together online. For me, and I hope for you, there is some solace in knowing that we can all remain connected from all over the world, if not physically, then emotionally and spiritually. Let’s leave “personal distancing” to the physical realm while we maintain connection in the ways that are available to all of us.

We want you to be a part of our online IFS community during this transition and thereafter. As a way for us to stay connected with you, each month we will be sharing complimentary special gifts from IFS Institute until we can resume our in-person trainings and events. So please continue to watch your emails.

Once again, I wish good health to all of you and your loved ones. We’re all experiencing this extraordinary global event together, and as such, we’re all in it together. All of us.

With love and best wishes to all,

Dick
