We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved trainer, Carmen Jimenez-Pride, MSW, LCSW, RPT-S, IFS Lead Trainer, has passed away. Carmen was a radiant presence in the IFS and Play Therapy communities - known for her passion, brilliance, and boundless heart.
She gave so much to the Institute and to all those she taught, mentored, and inspired. Her impact will continue to be felt in the countless lives she has touched.
Katie Nelson, IFS Institute CEO, remembered Carmen this way:
“Carmen will be deeply missed by the IFS community. She was an outstanding teacher, who delivered many Level 1 trainings and she co-developed and delivered our Level 2 program on Children and Adolescents. She presented at our conferences, was an active member in our trainer community and also supported important special projects. She had a huge heart, was an amazing colleague and friend to many.”
As we grieve this heartbreaking loss, we also invite space to honor and celebrate Carmen’s extraordinary life and legacy. Our thoughts are with Carmen’s family, friends, and all who loved her. At the family’s request, we also ask that you honor their privacy during this difficult time.
