IFS therapists and practitioners may integrate the IFS approach and principles into practices and professions including bodywork, expressive therapies, pastoral and spiritual counseling, coaching and consulting, mediation and conflict resolution, teaching mindfulness and meditation, work with groups and organizations, and other non‐clinical applications. The title “Certified IFS Practitioner” implies that the individual integrates IFS primarily in one or more related fields, rather than psychotherapy or that the individual is under supervision and is not yet licensed to practice independently in their jurisdiction.
