IFS Foundations for Coaches

 

The IFS Foundations for Coaches program is a live, online, and experiential program created by coaches, for coaches. It is uniquely designed for professional coaches ready to integrate the transformative principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS™) into their practice. 

This program stands apart due to its small cohort size and deeply experiential design. Limited to just 60 participants, the intimate group learning setting fosters meaningful connection and personalized guidance. All sessions are held live via Zoom to support engagement and connection. The program format encourages active participation through self-exploration, peer coaching, and mentorship, creating a groundbreaking learning environment designed by coaches, for coaches.

Who Should Apply?

  • Professional coaches with at least one year of coaching experience
  • Those trained and certified by an accredited coaching body
  • Coaches ready to deepen their presence and bring more Self-leadership to their work

What You’ll Gain
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Develop enhanced Self-leadership to deepen coaching presence
  • Identify key factors driving client behaviors through exploring their internal family system
  • Apply IFS coaching techniques to address internal conflicts and habitual patterns
  • Practice core steps of IFS coaching approaches while maintaining ethical boundaries
  • Recognize when to refer clients to therapeutic resources, in alignment with the ICF Code of Ethics
  • Integrate IFS skills into existing coaching methods with support from peers and practice guides

Participants will also benefit from tools to enact increased presence and Self-leadership in coaching relationships, practice and personalized feedback from experienced, IFS-informed practice guides, and access to a connected, international learning community.

Program Format and Schedule
This program is limited to just 60 participants, creating an intimate and personalized learning experience. All program sessions are held live via Zoom, including:

  • Kickoff Session: 2 hours
  • Seven 5-hour live instruction webinars across three sections
  • Six weekly 90-minute guided practice group meetings for questions and support

Program Details

  • Tuition: $2,150 USD (Partial scholarships available)
  • Certificate of Completion: Earned with a minimum of 30 out of 35 live hours and 5 out of 6 guided practice group meetings (Note: While this certificate recognizes completion of the program, it is not equivalent to an IFS Level 1 clinical training, does not lead to IFS certification, and does not entitle participants to use a formal title like “IFS Coach.”)
  • ICF CCE-approved program:
    • 32 hours in Core Competency
    • 7 hours in Resource Development
