Jon has worked in the mental health field for over 30 years, both as a clinician and in leadership positions within mental health organizations.  Jon served as the Executive Director of Urban Peak, a center for runaway and homeless teens in Denver, CO and as Executive Director for Poyama Day Treatment Center outside of Salem, OR.   Jon began his directorship of The Center for Self Leadership in 2008.  Along the way, Jon completed the IFS Level 1 and 2 trainings, was a Program Assistant for a Level 1 training, and has continued to apply IFS in his work over the years.  Jon earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Macalester College and a Masters of Counseling Education from The College of Idaho.  He lives in Littleton, CO.

Mary joined the team in 2005, with a background in business administration and mathematics.  She handles all things financial for the IFS Institute.

Judith first joined the team as Director of Finance and Operations in 2004.  She has a MA and is trained in the IFS model.  Judith became the Director of Staffing in January of 2010.  Her responsibilities include supervising trainers and making trainer assignments.  Judith is passionate about using the model, both personally and professionally.

International Training Director

Luis became part of the team in November 2019. He is a lawyer with relevant background as associate lawyer in international law firms and more recently as general counsel of large multinational companies on the real estate and civil engineering sectors, with accredited expertise in managing international projects and leading multicultural and multijurisdiction teams. Luis leads our international department, including responsibility over all our international training programs and the corporate development of the IFS Institute outside USA and Canada.

Mary Anne is Training Program Coordinator for standard Level 1, 2, and 3 training programs in the U.S.  She has been working with CSL for more than 10 years, and has a background in office management, and academic and arts administration.

Sara joined the team in September 2018 with a background working in operations and marketing for companies serving behavioral health providers. Sara oversees course development and member support for IFS online learning programs, marketing and affiliate partnerships, and internal technical operations for IFS Institute.

Ashley joined the team in 2011 and oversees all aspects of the IFS Annual Conference. She is IFS Level 1 trained and has a background in hospitality management, event management and marketing.

Karen has been providing coordination of the IFS certification program since its inception in 2010.  In this capacity, Karen assists applicants throughout the IFS certification application process and also provides administrative support for the IFS recertification process which is required every two years.

Sandy joined the team in 2008.  Prior to IFS Institute Sandy worked as an Assistant in Mental Health for several years.  Sandy handles the IFS Bookstore, Practitioner Directory, any website issues and/or general questions.

Lauren is passionate about IFS and has been working to bring the model to people through the IFS Institute since 2004. She has a wide variety of organizational history. She has attended multiple Level 1 trainings and is a Level 2 training graduate. She currently bolsters the growth and support of the IFS Trainer staff in the Staffing Department.

Alexandra became part of the Center for Self Leadership team in January of 2019. Alexandra has a background within the Hospitality industry handling housing and site selections. As the Training Site Sourcing Coordinator, she now handles the site searches for the IFS Level 1, 2 and 3 trainings.
