  3. IFS Directory
  4. Practitioner profile

This is a complimentary directory provided by the IFS Institute that features those who have opted into sharing their information and have completed at minimum an IFS Level 1 Training.

The majority of individuals use the IFS model as a primary or adjunct approach in their psychotherapy, counseling, or clinical social work practices.

While IFS was developed primarily as a psychotherapy, it has been discovered over the last several decades that it can be successfully applied in a wide variety of related fields. IFS therapists and practitioners may integrate the IFS approach and principles into practices and professions including bodywork, expressive therapies, pastoral and spiritual counseling, coaching and consulting, mediation and conflict resolution, teaching mindfulness and meditation, work with groups and organizations, and other non‐clinical applications. The title “Certified IFS Practitioner” implies that the individual integrates IFS primarily in one or more related fields, rather than psychotherapy or that the individual is under supervision and is not yet licensed to practice independently in their jurisdiction.

If you are looking for an independently licensed therapist, or someone who has training in mental health, you should confirm their credentials when you first contact them.

Individuals listed operate independently and are not affiliated with the IFS Institute.

By using this directory, you are agreeing to this website’s Terms of Use and Directory Disclaimer.

If you are having an emergency, please dial 911 immediately to reach Emergency Services. If you need non‐emergency immediate assistance you may find helpful information on our Resources for Immediate Support Page.
